An AC annual maintenance contract (AMC) is a yearly agreement in which a company services your air conditioners on a set schedule and responds first when you have a breakdown. With Al Karama Technical LLC, every contract includes a free first inspection, scheduled service visits, no call-out fee during business hours, a 10% discount on repairs and priority emergency support. Plans are available for apartments, villas, offices, buildings and warehouses, and are priced by the number and type of AC units.
Most AC breakdowns we attend in July and August started months earlier. A filter nobody cleaned. A drain line slowly blocking. A capacitor getting weak. None of these stop the AC straight away, so they get ignored until the hottest week of the year, when every repair company in the city is busy.

Air conditioning is the biggest share of most Dubai electricity bills. A unit with a clogged filter and dirty coils has to run longer to reach the same temperature, and you pay for every extra minute.
DEWA advises cleaning AC filters at least once every three months, because clogged filters block airflow and reduce efficiency. It also recommends setting the thermostat to 24°C or higher. An annual maintenance contract takes care of the first part for you. Clean coils, clear drains and correct gas pressure do the rest.
